HSC Chemistry and Physics Are Now on ATARIS

Year 12 Physics and Chemistry added, ALL Math coming soon

HSC Chemistry and Physics Are Now on ATARIS

If you're studying HSC Chemistry or HSC Physics in NSW, ATARIS now has you covered.

We've just added full question bank support for both subjects, organised by syllabus topic, with the same smart lists and progress tracking that WACE students have been using to prepare for their exams. Standard and Advanced Maths, Extension 1, and Extension 2 are coming this week.

What's in the HSC question bank

Every question maps directly to a NESA syllabus dot point. You pick a module, drill into a specific concept, and practice until it sticks. If you're weak on equilibrium in Chemistry or projectile motion in Physics, the smart lists will surface those questions automatically, you don't have to manually hunt for gaps.

The syllabus structure in ATARIS mirrors how NESA actually lays out the course:

HSC Chemistry covers all four modules: Equilibrium and Acid Reactions, Organic Chemistry, Applying Chemical Ideas, and Driving Reactions.

HSC Physics covers all four modules: Kinematics and Dynamics, Waves and Thermodynamics, Electricity and Magnetism, and Ideas to Implementation and Quanta to Quarks.

Both subjects scale well for ATAR purposes, which means doing well in them pays off more than you might expect. Getting your fundamentals solid is what separates Band 5 from Band 6, and ATARIS helps you practice and apply it in exam scenarios

How it compares to THSC Online

THSC Online is the go-to place for past HSC papers and trial papers. It has an enormous library, 170+ Chemistry trial papers alone, and it's useful for full paper practice in the lead-up to exams.

ATARIS does something different. Rather than downloading a 28-page trial paper and working through questions that span every topic at once, ATARIS lets you isolate exactly the concepts you need to work on. If you've already got Module A down cold but Module C is shaky, you practice Module C. Your progress is tracked across sessions, and weak areas keep coming back until you've actually mastered them.

Plenty of students use THSC to simulate exam conditions and ATARIS to drill the specific gaps those practice papers expose. With ATARIS' ever growing library of differntiator (Band 6) questions you can be sure you're covered even if you school isn't in THSC.

Works on any device

Study on your laptop at home or your phone on the bus. Your progress syncs everywhere, so you're not locked to one device.

What's coming this week

Standard Maths, Advanced Maths, Extension 1 Maths, and Extension 2 Maths will be live this week. These are high-scaling subjects and arguably the ones where systematic topic-by-topic practice makes the biggest difference, there's no shortcut to working through enough problems in the right areas.

If you've been waiting for HSC subjects to show up on ATARIS, now's the time to get started.
