VCE ATAR and scaling calculator

We interpolate between VTAC’s 2025 scaled study scores for study scores of 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45 and 50. Published scaling values are rounded to whole numbers, so an estimated aggregate can differ from the official calculation using more precise values.

Your highest eligible English score and next three eligible scores form the primary four. Up to two further scores contribute 10% each. No more than two studies in one study area count in the primary four, or three overall. English and EAL are equivalent: only the higher scaled result contributes.

The estimated aggregate is rounded to two decimal places and matched to VTAC’s full 2025 ATAR intervals. Aggregates below 65.93 display “Below 30”.

Scores outside the published scaling points are estimated using the same bounded curves as the scaling explorer and flagged as less reliable. Scaling changes each year. These estimates do not include university adjustments, VET or higher education increments, unlisted courses, or individual eligibility checks.

This version supports 41 subjects. Use final VCE study scores, not SAC percentages.
