WACE ATAR and scaling calculator

For subjects with a predictor, use the SCSA standardised combined score. Raw school marks, raw examination marks and an unstandardised average are not equivalent inputs.

We select your best four eligible scaled scores and add 10% of Methods, Specialist and your entered language score, even if these courses are outside your best four. Applications and Specialist cannot both count in the best four; at most two maths courses count.

This first version supports our nine WACE course models, English and one language course. English and languages require scaled scores. HSC calculation and other WACE subjects are not supported yet.

The optional 2024 scaling models use cohort statistics and have only been checked against a small high-score sample. Their accuracy at lower scores is unverified; combining them with the 2025 ATAR table is an exploratory scenario, not a validated ATAR prediction. No statistical confidence interval is available.

WACE completion, English competence, course prerequisites and university selection adjustments are separate from this estimate. Use current eligible Year 12 results; this tool does not assess eligibility or results accumulated over multiple years.
